*Group Activity (morning children)
This is a structured activity, where each day a different group of children sit
at a table with an adult, a ratio of 1:6, for about twenty minutes. This
exercise encourages the children to work in groups and learn to listen and carry
out instructions. The topic of the group activity can be found on the weekly
planning sheet.
Parents Rota
We operate a rota for parents who want to help. This is displayed on the
Pre-school door, where you can enter your name on the day that your child
attends. This is purely voluntary; we do not make you help! But it is nice to
see that so many parents want to help. If you want to help but are unsure what
to do, please speak to Alison or Kathy. The staff are always grateful for an
extra pair of hands, and at the same time you can observe your child at
Pre-school. If you have a younger child, you are more than welcome to bring them
along, but you have to be responsible for them.
